PBPC - Join Us in Supporting Harbor House!
Dear PBPC Friends, PBPC has supported Harbor House as a mission partner for decades. We volunteer on service days maintaining the playground, sorting donations, weeding and painting. We serve as elementary and ESL tutors, graphic designers, donation processors, food baggers, and Board members. And we support HH in prayer and financially. With the changes necessitated by the pandemic 'storm', HH has created new means to help its families flourish in place. Trained tutors work digitally with children one-on-one. Learning pods have been created to support children who struggle with online learning. (Former PBPCer Martha Allen is one of the accredited pod teachers.) Soul Care gathers children to process quarantines and other Covid their experiences – and then play! HH has become a trusted source of information about Covid testing and vaccination opportunities.
